A cooperative party game where everyone except the active player secretly writes one clue word to help them find the answer, but a clue that matches another player's is cancelled. Instead of winning or losing, you record how many words the whole team got right, so there is no pressure.
1. Setup
Shuffle the deck and prepare the 13 cards used in a round, and each player takes a whiteboard easel and a marker. The active player who guesses changes each round, going around the table.
2. Turn flow
The active player calls out a number without looking at the card. Everyone else secretly writes one clue word on their board and sets it down, then they compare clues, and any clues that are exactly the same word are turned face down and cancelled in advance.
3. Key rules
Clues that are exactly the same word are cancelled automatically, and the active player guesses from the remaining clues only. If the guess is wrong, or if no clues are left, the card counts as a miss and is turned face down and discarded.
4. End condition
If the active player names the word from the remaining clues, it is a success! After you play through all 13 cards you prepared, the number of correct answers is the whole team's score.

💡 Master tip
A slightly offbeat clue that others are unlikely to write often works better than the most obvious word. Guessing in advance what angle the other players will take is the key to avoiding duplicates.
