BoardGameMate has no sign-up or log-in, and does not collect or store personally identifying information such as your name or email address on any server.
Game scores and your collection status (owned / wishlist / played) are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to a server. Clearing your browser data deletes them too.
Google Analytics may be used to collect non-identifying statistics such as which pages are visited and where visitors came from, in order to improve the service. Cookies may be used for this, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.
This site displays advertising (Kakao AdFit, and possibly Google AdSense in future). Ad providers may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve personalised ads; you can block cookies in your browser settings. If the ad providers change, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Comments can be posted without signing in. We store only the nickname and text you enter, the time it was posted, and a hash of a random session value kept in a browser cookie. We do not store IP addresses or browser details. To block automated posting we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which does receive your IP address and browser information. Comments reported by several visitors are hidden automatically pending review. If you want a comment removed, report it or contact us.
