Product and verification scope

This guide covers the Happy Play 3D Bingo Game imported by Good July, barcode `8809554602218`, Korean safety number `CB064R987-2002`, manufactured in April 2024.

No separate rules sheet verified

The box confirms assembly and the win condition. It does not state how to choose the first player, resolve a full board or handle other edge cases, so those limits are marked below.

Contents and objective

ItemQuantity or size
Vertical gridabout 21×16×15cm assembled
Red discs21, about 3cm across
Yellow discs21, about 3cm across

Each player takes one colour. The first player to connect four discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins immediately.

Assembly and setup

  1. 1Slide the base fully to one side.
  2. 2Raise the front grid and secure it in the base grooves.
  3. 3One player takes all 21 red discs and the other takes all 21 yellow discs.
  4. 4Agree who starts; the box gives no first-player method.
Drop one disc from the top on your turn. It stacks above any discs already in that column.

Taking a turn

  1. 1Choose any column that still has an empty space.
  2. 2Drop one disc of your colour into the top opening.
  3. 3Gravity carries it to the lowest empty space. You cannot stop it at a chosen height.
  4. 4Check for a line of four. If there is none, the opponent plays.

One disc at a time

Do not move discs sideways after they enter the grid. Leave every played disc in place until the game ends.

Checking a winning line

The direction can differ; four uninterrupted discs of one colour in a straight line complete the goal.
  • Horizontal: four adjacent spaces in one row
  • Vertical: four spaces above one another in one column
  • Diagonal: four rising or falling diagonal spaces
  • A line of five or more includes a valid group of four and also wins

Ending and unstated rulings

The game ends as soon as the newly dropped disc completes a line of four. Check before the opponent drops another disc.

If the grid fills

The box gives no draw rule. Standard play for the same 7×6 gravity format ends in a draw if the grid fills without a line of four. Agree before playing whether to use that ruling here.

After the game, pull the grid back and tilt it so the discs fall out below. Confirm that each colour still has 21 discs.

Helpful ideas for a first game

  • Central columns can contribute to more horizontal and diagonal lines.
  • Before building your own line, check whether the opponent can win with one disc on their next turn.
  • A higher space is not playable until the spaces below it are filled. Watch whether an opponent's disc creates the support you need.
  • Two different next-move wins form a fork that is difficult to block in one turn.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can a diagonal run in either direction?

Yes. Four uninterrupted discs of one colour can rise or fall diagonally.

Q. Can I place a disc in an empty space halfway up?

No. Drop it from the top so it settles in the column's lowest empty space.

Q. Can a played disc move?

The box provides no movement rule. Leave played discs in place until the game ends.

Q. What if the grid fills without a line of four?

The box is silent. We recommend agreeing to the standard gravity four-in-a-row ruling: the game is a draw.

Q. Is this an official Connect Four product?

The confirmed product is Good July's Happy Play 3D Bingo Game. It uses a similar 7×6 gravity format but has not been verified as a licensed Hasbro Connect Four edition.

Sources and edition record

The owner's box confirms assembly, two colours, horizontal/vertical/diagonal four-in-a-row, reset instructions and component counts. Ohouse and Tenbyten product notices support the maker, importer, size and age.

No dedicated BGG or Namuwiki entry was confirmed on 23 September 2026. The Connect Four article is used only to compare the shared rules format, not as evidence of this product's publisher, designer or history.

💡 Master tip

Central columns contribute to more possible lines. Before every move, check whether your opponent can win with one disc next turn, then look for a fork that threatens two winning spaces.
