Roll for a shape, stack a coloured block in the narrow tower, score same-colour shared faces and subtract enclosed gaps.
This guide covers Daiso Korea item `1037913`, Korean product name Drop Block Matching 5000, barcode `8808739000504`, safety number `CB063R4839-1002A`, manufactured in October 2025.
Player count, time and ending unstated
The box only says to decide an order and alternate. It confirms at least two players, but gives no maximum count, play time or exact ending. The site therefore leaves players and time blank rather than estimating them.
| Item | Confirmed quantity or size |
|---|---|
| Block tower | 1, about 18Γ25cm with a 3.5cm inner width |
| Shape die | 1, about 1.5cm |
| Red, yellow, lime, blue and purple blocks | 15 of each colour, 75 total |
Players stack the shape shown by the die. The final score adds shared faces in qualifying same-colour groups and subtracts empty cells; the highest score wins.
Keep every shape inside the tower and avoid enclosed empty cells.
The die sets the shape
A normal face requires the matching shape. Only the `MAGIC TETRIS` face permits a free choice.
Three red unit blocks form two shared faces.
One enclosed unit-sized gap costs one point.
Score ownership is unclear
The box says to alternate and calculate scores, but does not explain who owns a contact extended on a later turn. Agree on a record such as βscore only the new contacts created on your turnβ.
The box states no ending. It does not say whether to use all blocks or stop when no stable placement remains.
Suggested format
End when no block can be placed securely or after an agreed number of turns. Add each player's recorded contact points and subtract gaps made on their turns; the highest total wins. This is a BoardGameMate suggestion, not an official rule.
The box gives no count. Its instructions to decide an order and alternate confirm only that it expects at least two players.
Choose any one block from the seven shapes shown on the box.
No. The same-colour connected group must contain at least three unit blocks before its shared faces score.
No. Corners touching do not create a shared face.
The box does not say. Agree before play to use all pieces, stop when no piece fits safely or play a fixed number of turns.
The owner's front and back confirm the item number, contents, dimensions, die choices and scoring text. The Daiso Mall page is access restricted, so its item path is retained and a matching second-hand box photo supports the visual identification.
No dedicated BGG, English Wikipedia or Namuwiki entry was confirmed on 23 September 2026. `MAGIC TETRIS` is recorded only as text on the die face; this guide does not claim an official Tetris licence.

π‘ Master tip
Place broad, flat shapes low and avoid enclosing one-cell holes. Build same-colour groups of at least three where several faces can touch.
